Theatre doesn't get much more intimate than this...An exciting piece of physical theatre from up-and-coming company Chopped Logic...the show explores the literal and figurative significance of the human body in sport, love and politics. It makes for an original, though-provoking work from a young company to watch out for - and an intimate theatrical experience
Morning Star, May 06
Sand covers the stage and four bodies lie in the sand, a sculpture which takes the light effectively: the sand is raw yet beautiful, just like the athletic human body... The strength of this performance, written and directed by Cassie Werber, is in its engaging human stories, set against an aggressively political landscape - all shrunk to one arena, one patch of sand... this sporting bonanza has no sense of its own limits and attempts to run ahead of itself. And this, after all, is what Sprint is all about.
